The Australian Institute of Creative Design attracts students from around the world.
The family owned business opened three years ago and is run by Tracy Sawell and her husband Nathan along with their Daughter Sonya.
Mrs Sawell said Varsity Lakes was the ideal location for their college.
“The location is a perfect choice and the train station is going to have a significant benefit,” she said.
“Students will find it a lot easier to get here.”
The College offers advanced and general diplomas, short courses, and distance education.
Mrs Sawell said her goal was to broaden the subjects offered by the college.
“We are going to move some of our courses to online to offer more,” she said.
Mrs Sawell said the College was appealing because it offered students small class sizes and the individual attention of well known industry professionals.
“They come from everywhere, we just had an American woman here to do a swimsuit course as she wanted to experience the boutique environment,” said Mrs Sawell.
Advanced Styling student Sarah Ekceg said the college was a wonderful place for students with a passion for fashion to further develop their creative flair.
“They offer the basics here, it’s what we need, and they're all so friendly,” she said. “It’s the best environment.”
