Vigorous employment growth in Varsity Lakes

Varsity Lakes is experiencing vigorous growth in employment, producing a job a day in the five-year-old community.

Varsity is financially secure with business leaders including Telstra and IBM operating in the town centre, according to local Delfin Lend Lease Realty Services manager Andrew Stevenson.

“The last five years has fulfilled our development under the master plan with a diverse range of product,” he said.
“Geographical position and infrastructure lends itself to be a safe place to invest.”

Services such as the new train station and educational facilities at Bond University are attracting buyers, alongside the development's cosmopolitan feel and lakeside living, Mr Stevenson said.

New resident Christina Douglas made the move from inner-suburban Melbourne to Varsity Lakes and said she was loving the lifestyle.

“It's such a nice, picturesque, pleasant area to live,” she said.
“It's like living in a little village that is really modern and close to everything I need.”

Mr Stevenson said this is the exact feel the community developers aimed for.

Delfin has now finished its Lend Lease project and is currently selling the last of its property.
