Varsity College implements ‘Leader in Me’ in 2011

In 2011, Varsity College will be one of just three Australian schools to begin implementing the Leader in Me process. 

This is an exciting initiative of leadership and character building for the school with the process being rolled out initially through the junior campus (Prep-Year 6).   Leader in Me is based on Dr Stephen R Covey’s best- selling book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.  

The philosophy has been developed for school aged children with nineteen teachers already trained to deliver the process.  Varsity College also held a community Visioning Day on 18 October 2010 which brought together parents, teachers, business leaders , stakeholders, local government representatives and wider community members with the aim to develop a “whole of community” approach for the implementation of the ‘Leader in Me’ philosophy.
