VLCL awarded $5,000 grant from NRMA

Since 2003, the NRMA Insurance Community Grants Program has given more than $4 million to over 1,000 community projects right across Australia.   

VLCL applied to the NRMA grants program in 2009 under the Emergency Readiness and Response category and were successful in receiving a $5,000 grant. 

The funds will be used to develop a Disaster Management Guide for the Varsity Lakes Community. 

The guide will provide references and resources to help you prepare and research for potential disasters and to gather information in readiness – before a disaster strikes. 

The Disaster Management Guide will be available to download from www.varsitylakesonline.com.au and is due to be released in a few short weeks.
