About 150 children attended the Titans football skills development workshop in Varsity Lakes as part of Busy Bodies’ school holiday program, last Tuesday.

Busy Bodies recreation and events manager Fiona Galletly said the clinic was fully booked two weeks prior to the event.

Titans development officer Darren Robb said it was the third clinic they had held in Queensland and was impressed by the children’s participation.

“It’s the most we’ve had since it began,” said Mr Robb.

“The weather stopped a bit of game play but the kids got to ask the players some questions.”

The clinic was $20 for each child, which included professional coaching, autographs and a show bag.

Reedy Creek resident Danica Connolly said her two sons and her nephew were very excited about attending the clinic.

“They’ve been to every single one, they love it so much,” said Mrs Connolly.

“It’s a good holiday activity for them.”

Players signed memorabilia and jerseys for the children and each child received a Titans show bag including a hat and discount vouchers.
