A Film and photography crew produced a promotional video to attract retailers to Varsity Lakes near University Drive last Monday evening.

The Propvid crew was hired by a real estate agent to capture images of The Piazza to be used as marketing material to attract new retail tenants.

Propvid creative director and executive producer Brett Clements said the company made multimedia property productions which aim to capture an areas ambience.

“We promote regional tourism on property,” he said.

“If you want to live or work somewhere you have to have a feel for the area.”

Propvid create podcasts for real estate websites of the properties that are for sale, said Mr Clements.

“Each property gets around 40 to 50 thousand views,” he said.

Mr Clements said the company did not limit themselves to producing real estate, but also produced other types of multimedia projects for various organisations.

“We are the official production company for Surf Life Saving Queensland … [and] we shot a high-end tourism campaign for New Zealand.”

Ray White Real Estate agent Scott Burgess said the services offered by Propvid helped to improve property sales.

“We have had properties sell that buyers have yet to see,” he said.

“They base their decisions solely off of the online media.”

The Piazza Varsity Lakes video will be available next week at www.rwsp.net/index.cfm/page/commercial
