Myer Christmas Carols at Varsity Lakes

Varsity Lakes Community Limited, Myer, Hope Church and the Hear and Say Centre were extremely disappointed with the cancellation of the 2010 Myer Christmas Carols at Varsity Lakes. 

Persistent rain in the weeks leading up to and on the day of the event made the conditions of the oval unsuitable for an outdoor event. 

We know this is such a greatly anticipated event each year and we thank the community, supporters, sponsors, suppliers and entertainers for their understanding. 

It may now be another year away, however, plans will soon commence in preparation of the 2011 Carols.  Top of the list will be steps that can be taken to ensure the event can still go ahead no matter what Mother Nature has in store for us.

We also invite feedback from community members on what you would like from the 2011 Carols or any suggestions you may have to make the event bigger and better than ever.
