Mashall Hall expands business during global financial crisis

(By Freya Lehman and Sara Munassor, Bond University Students)

A local business man has chosen to expand his business in an attempt to reduce the affects of the financial crisis.
Former business editor of Gold Coast Bulletin said he had expanded his Public Relations (PR) Company into Human Resources (HR) field.
Mr Hall said he had found a niche and believed combining PR with HR was a smart move.
“PR is all about external stake holders and HR is all about internal stake holders,” he said.
“Larger firms around the world use this strategy.”
Mr Hall said he had taken the example from other companies that had employed a similar business strategy.
Mr Hall said he believed HR was a cost effective division to inherit while the economy was uncertain.

Managing Director of local Varsity business Mr Woo said he supported Mr Hall’s ideas on the expansion
“Credit to Mr Hall on expanding his business during the current economic climate, said Mr Woo”
“It is a logical move for Mr Hall to expand into HR.”
