International comedian and magician, Sam Angelico, will present two free shows this Saturday at Market Square, Varsity Lakes.
Market Square, the award-winning entertainment, dining and retail precinct of Varsity Lakes, is hosting free family fun in the lake front amphitheatre at 11am and 1pm.
Local chamber President and business owner Nic Rhone says the event will be an enjoyable day for all with face painting and fun for the kids.
“No bookings are required, however I suggest if you want a seat to get there early,” says Nic.
Sam Angelico is a renowned entertainer, respected for his ability to perform in front of large or intimate gatherings, who specialises in close-up illusions.
“Kids and parents will be treated to the comedic and illusionary spectacle of Sam’s performance and are encouraged to enjoy the day’s festivities and soak up what’s on offer in the area,” says Nic.
The lakefront Market Square precinct, likened to the fashionable high streets of England and Europe with its eclectic mix of shopping, restaurants and boutiques, has attracted the attention of a number of new eateries in recent years with a stable of more than a dozen restaurants and cafes now calling Market Square home.
Boasting more than 40 retailers, the area is also home to banks, a medical centre, chemist, a supermarket, health and beauty establishments, travel agent, homewares, convenience stores and accommodation and conference facilities which all service the local business community, Bond University, Varsity College and the greater Varsity Lakes community.
