With the Christmas holiday quickly approaching, Varsity Lakes Travel has been staying busy planning trips for those ready to get out of town.

Varsity Lakes Travel Senior Travel Consultant Mick Tasic said there are a lot of people, especially families, planning to get away over the holiday season.

"Locally, people are travelling to the Whitsunday Islands, Sydney and Melbourne,” Tasic said.

As for international travel Fiji and Vanuatu are the most popular, but families are also travelling to the West Coast of the United States to visit Disneyland and go skiing.”

Varsity Lakes Travel is dedicated to the customer and their needs when booking a trip.

“Anything you want we can organise for you-this includes flights, accommodation, tours, sightseeing, and travel insurance,” said Tasic.

Varsity Lakes Travel Owner and Managing Director Nick Rone said he and his team conduct weekly searches for the best value travel deals around.

“Every week we search for specials, and after we find these deals we e-mail clients and post it to our website for everyone to see,” he said.

Varsity Lakes Travel specialises in travel options for families with children.

“Our travel with kids is a very specific product for families,” Mr Rone said.

“It is set up with the idea of it being inspected so we know exactly where our clients are going and what they are going to get.”  Mr Rone said it is a service oriented travel agency, where the staff can book a trip anywhere, and for anyone who is looking to get away.

“Travel is changing due to the times we are in, people are coming in to go on holiday to escape rather than for relaxation,” he said
