Local Fashionistas Choose Varsity Lakes

The Australian Institute of Creative Design located in Varsity Lakes,is giving other local fashion-based learning institutions some healthy competition.

Gold Coast resident Samantha Cullen attends the institute and said she felt confident being in the hands of Tracey and Sonja Saywell.

“It’s great to know the students are getting actual real life experience in the [fashion] industry,” said Ms Cullen.

“I love the one on one time you get with the teacher … it’s very beneficial for the improvement of my work.”

An employee at the institute said she felt the students were advantaged to be able to attend such a great learning place.

“The structure of the classes is set out very well,” she said.

“You can definitely see the difference in the skills the students attain, from when they first start to when they finish.”
