Lack of internet cafés in Varsity Lakes

Visitors to Varsity Lakes have been at a loss trying to find internet cafés.

Delfin executive assistant Katrina Wheatley said she knew of just one internet café in the area.

“The only one I am aware of is Crema Espresso,” she said.

Crema Espresso manager Vicky O’Brien said she believed her business was the only internet café in the area.

“I am unsure about any others because Varsity Lakes is a big place,” she said.

Crema Espresso has computers with internet access that customers can pay to use along with wireless hotspots for those who have their own personal computers.

Delfin’s Ms Wheatley said other cafés might have wireless internet access but that would require customers to already own a laptop computer.

“Other cafés may have wireless hotspots,” she said.

“It’s a matter of visiting them to find out.”
