Supermodel Jennifer Hawkins delighted shoppers at the official Myer Robina launch on Sunday, November 7.

Hundreds turned out to the Myer Robina launch to watch fashion parades and to get a chance to meet Hawkins.

Models paraded the catwalk, showcasing the latest fashions from Myer.

The parade gave shoppers a glimpse of what the new store has to offer.

Jennifer Hawkins gave her opinion of the new store.

"I've had a bit of a walk through and had a look at a few things I want to purchase," she said.

"It's nice and new and fresh, so there's a lot of people in there shopping."

Hawkins also gave eager listeners some fashion advice for the upcoming season.

"Military is a big trend as well as khaki and digital prints," she said.

"There's something in there for everyone."

Varsity Lakes resident Ellisha Spratt waited in the long queue to get a chance to meet Hawkins.

"I thought the turnout was great," said Ellisha.

"There was a big crowd surrounding people waiting to get autographs and the crowd increased throughout the day.

"It was great to get to meet her.

She's beautiful and seemed quite friendly."

Ellisha enjoyed the Myer fashion but was less than impressed by Hawkins' outfit.

"I preferred the fashions showed on the models prior to Jennifer coming out," she said.

"I thought she looked nice, however I wasn't really impressed by the way she was dressed.

"I thought she might have dressed a bit more appropriately. It looked like she was going to the beach."

Ellisha is enjoying the bigger variety now the store has opened.

"I think the store will give residents more shopping opportunities and a greater variety to chose from," she said.
