Introducing The Bistro & Bar

Many might not know that local restaurant Acquablu was recently purchased by Melanie Bennett, Chris Hall and Dave Mayer.  The new owners hoped the name change to The Bistro & Bar, reflected the warm brown and deep orange decor and enhanced the eclectic bistro feel.

Restaurant Manager, Melanie Bennett, said the stylish and intimate atmosphere was perfect for all kinds of occasions.

"A large group of girls celebrated a friend's birthday here just this past weekend" said Ms Bennett.

Varsity Shores resident Nicole Hall said the menu looked different but she wasn't aware that the restaurant was under new ownership.

"I really love their new breakfast deals," she said.  "It's delicious and only costs $10 with orange juice and a bottomless cup of coffee."

Along with a change of name, the new owners have introduced an exciting menu all priced under $16.

The Bistro & Bar address is located at 4/240 Varsity Parade (at the corner of Lake Street and Varsity Parade) and is open between 8:30am and 9pm on weekdays, and 9am til 9pm on weekends.
