Approximately, 60 dancers and performers, aged from two and a half years old auditioned to join the Gold Coast Titans performing squad last Saturday.
Hoping to make the already 240-strong squad of performers, people started lining up for auditions before the doors opened.
Public relations officer Megan McInally said the audition process was a great opportunity for aspiring performers.
“It’s such a great base for young entertainers wanting to pursue that in future careers, or just kids who want to have fun or have a go, we’re open to anyone,” she said.
“I think it’s really great for the community, bringing everyone together … it’s going to be great for the Titans as well just to bring that family-orientated atmosphere back to the games.”
Varsity Lakes resident Kelly Arrows said her daughter auditioned for a dance position in the squad.
Mrs Arrow said the audition was a good opportunity for her daughter to do what she loves, meet new people and have fun.
