| Technology Services |
| Experiencing TV reception and tuning issues at The Landing? This may help. |
| In the cupboard you will see a box with a lot of thick black cables going into it. On top of that box, between the cables you will note that there is a switch marked “Max Med Min”.
You will most likely find that the switch is pushed to the Max setting. This setting actually needs to be set to MIN/LOW. As the switch is recessed you may need a pen or small screwdriver to push the switch along.
You will need to re-tune your TV. If you have an dual receiving TV (ie Digital and Analog) you should be able to detect more than 30 channels on the system. It is recommended that you do a full channel scan if your TV has that option.
If the TV in the downstairs area still does not receive a clear picture then you can try purchasing one of the following adapters. This adapter can be screwed onto the plug above the normal TV outlet.
- F59 to PAL
- Jaycar: PA3672 approx: $4
- Dick Smith: P2017 approx: $1.60
