Hair trends in Varsity Lakes

For three and a half years, hair salon Coco Mousse has been the leading trendsetter in Varsity Lakes.

As summer approaches there are new hair styles to look into.

Salon manager Haley Grima said short hair for women is definitely coming in.

For guys the look is shorter hair on the sides and longer through the top, she said.

Customers are asking for a celebrity inspired hairstyle all the time.

“Everyone comes in and wants hair like Posh, because she’s got great hair - the bob.”

Other inspirations for customers are Victoria’s Secret models and Nicole Richie.

There are many new products at Coco Mousse before the holidays.

One of them is the Midnight collection from GHD, which comes in a luxurious package and includes hair straighteners, hair dryer, mirror and hard case.

“The new midnight collection is absolutely the perfect gift for Christmas, because it comes with all the extras,” said Haley.

Hair stylist Jaslynn Smit said Coco Mousse differs from other salons in its customer service.

“As an up-market salon we offer a variety of beverages, from wine and beer to cappuccinos and orange juice.”

“Each and every client gets an intense massage which gets them relaxed for the service they are going to receive.”
